Zimbra LDAP Multi Master Replication Untuk LDAP Master 1, fungsi memiliki 2 ldap master. Ketika LDAP Master utama RTO atau Service mati, semua user masih bisa login menggunakan LDAP Master 2. LDAP Master bisa digunakan lebih dari 2 misal 3 LDAP Master. Sebelum melakukan konfigurasi, berikut informasi pada tutorial ini.

Informasi versi yang digunakan:

1. Zimbra OSE 8.8.15
2. Centos 7.6

Hostname yang digunakan:

1. LDAP Master 1: ldap1.saad.my.id
2. LDAP Master 2: ldap2.saad.my.id

DNS yang digunakan:

1. DNS Public

Langkah-langkah Multi Master Replication

1. Buat A Record ldap1.saad.my.id pada cpanel, pointing ke ip public server ldap master 1
2. Ikuti langkah 1-5 pada tutorial ini https://saad.web.id/2019/04/membuat-mail-server-dengan-zimbra-8-8-12-di-centos-7/
3. Ubah /etc/resolv.conf

nano /etc/resolv.conf

tambahkan dns google atau dns ISP

nameserver 8.8.8.8

4. Install zimbra dengan seperti berikut:

Install zimbra-ldap [Y] y
Install zimbra-logger [Y] n
Install zimbra-mta [Y] n
Install zimbra-dnscache [N] n
Install zimbra-snmp [Y] n
Install zimbra-store [Y] n
Install zimbra-apache [Y] n
Install zimbra-spell [Y] n
Install zimbra-memcached [Y] n
Install zimbra-proxy [Y] n
Checking required space for zimbra-core
Installing:
zimbra-core
zimbra-ldap

The system will be modified. Continue? [N] y

5. Masukkan domain yang digunakan

DNS ERROR resolving MX for ldap1.saad.my.id
It is suggested that the domain name have an MX record configured in DNS
Change domain name? [Yes] yes
Create domain: [ldap1.saad.my.id] saad.my.id

Konfigurasi Menu Instalasi Zimbra

6. Pilih 1 Enter

5) Store ephemeral attributes outside Ldap: no
6) Secure interprocess communications: yes
7) TimeZone: America/Los_Angeles
8) IP Mode: ipv4
9) Default SSL digest: sha256

Password for ldap admin user (min 6 characters): [neXx95tW] Password10@@@@

8. Ubah timezone zimbra

Common configuration

1) Hostname: ldap1.saad.my.id
2) Ldap master host: ldap1.saad.my.id
3) Ldap port: 389
4) Ldap Admin password: set
5) Store ephemeral attributes outside Ldap: no
6) Secure interprocess communications: yes
7) TimeZone: America/Los_Angeles
8) IP Mode: ipv4
9) Default SSL digest: sha256

Enter the number for the local timezone: [31] 48

9. Kembali ke main menu

Common configuration

1) Hostname: ldap1.saad.my.id

3) Ldap port: 389
4) Ldap Admin password: set
5) Store ephemeral attributes outside Ldap: no
6) Secure interprocess communications: yes
7) TimeZone: Asia/Bangkok
8) IP Mode: ipv4
9) Default SSL digest: sha256

10. Pilih no 2

7) Ldap amavis password: set
8) Ldap nginx password: set
9) Ldap Bes Searcher password: set

12. Kembali ke main menu

1) Status: Enabled

8) Ldap nginx password: set
9) Ldap Bes Searcher password: set

13. Apply konfigurasi seperti berikut

14. Pilih no tanpa notify ke zimbra

The VERSION of zcs installed (8.8.15_GA_3829_RHEL7_64)
The ADMIN EMAIL ADDRESS created (admin@saad.my.id)
